Hello,

i tested the Veritas software from the Windows 2000 3rdParty folder
and it worked fine.
I created the "Before" Snapshot, created some folders and some
Start-Menu groups.
I received a warning (?) but the .msi package was created and worked
fine.

But i have one question:
I want to create a .msi package, which is able to set the drive-icons
for specific hardware.
E.g. if the hardware "... Compact Flash USB device" is mounted to
drive X:, then add the
/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/DriveIcons/X/DefaultIcon path and the
Value Icon="<ProgrammDir>/ApplicationName/cf.ico" to the Registry.
I know how to copy the icons to the folder in the ProgramDir, but i
dont know how to set the registry key.

My problem is to get the driveletter, because on one pc the cardreader
uses D: and on another pc the driveletter W: or X: is used.

Is it possible to create this .msi package with the Veritas software,
or do i need any other software?

Thanks for your answers.

ZubZero
