Why am I all of a sudden getting a pop-up message "Microsoft Access was
unable to create an MDE database"... I do this all the time because my
users only access the mde... The error message does not really tell me
anything, I don't know where to look for the problem!!!

I would try to recompile the code first, as it might be that there is an
error...

if there are any coding errors in any modules you will not be able to create
an MDE file.
