I need to create a password or a login to some webpages. I use Frontpage
2003 and I really don't understand how to insert this in the root directory
after I have completed the website.

If your host offers cPanel, it offers that functionality (Password Protect
Directories).

Password Protect Part of a Web:

Requires FrontPage extensions on the server and the ability to use
subwebs with unique permissions.

Protect individual pages:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;825498
Requires a Windows server with ASP enabled, and ability to use a
database.
