hi

I'm trying to create a html signature in outlook 2007, but it won't work...,
I've chosen html format on the email

I pasted some html into the signature, and it is rendered as text instead of
html. which means it just displays the html text instead of displaying the
rendered html...

I tryed this html:
<img src="link to image" alt="hello world">

any ideas?

If you already have the HTML-file of your signature, then you can simply
place the signature file in your Signatures folder;
Hold CTRL when clicking on the Signatures... button for easy access to the
Signatures folder.
Make sure you also create a txt and rtf version of your signature and place
it in that folder.

did you use the insert hyperlink button or just paste that into the
signature field? You can only paste rendered HTML, not code copied from an
editor.

okay I pasted the rendered html from a browser, that works, but...

the html contains an image stored on the internet. after I created the
signature I updated this image, but the update is not to be shown in the
signature in outlook (I can see the updated signature when I choose
signature in outlook, but not in the message)

any ideas?
