After upgrading to Vista Beta 2, I no linger have any faxes attached to my
computer. My builtin modem supports faxing and I was able to send under
windows XP. When I click add printer and faxes, there is no option to add a
fax, just printers.

Any thoughts?
Dennis

Click HELP & SUPPORT and in the search box type "fax"...for install info
in Vista.

When you click PRINT in a document, there should be a "print to FAX"
choice available in the box where the printer is chosen. Click the
arrow to the right of that box, and see if the Fax choice is offered.

There is no "print to FAX option". Windows XP used to have a printer that
was the FAX printer, which I would select to send a fax. Help is useless.
Start...Settings...Printers and Faxes brings up a list of printers, but no
option to add a fax device.

Under Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on and off, do you
have Windows Fax and Scan checked (installed)? By clicking that, it added
a Windows Fax printer to my printers and allowed me to fax from there.

The caveat, I'm on RC1, not B2.

In RC1 there is an option to install Windows FAX and SCAN, by checking
the box in the "features" list.
