Create custom graphs and charts using BCM fields and data

I want to take the data from my Opportunities e.g. expected close date,
probability of closing, amount of closing, etc. and create a timeline/bubble
graph. I would like this to be a weekly report. Ideally, I'd like to avoid
having to write VBA code to do this and would prefer to use the Excel
graphical engine, (or some other MS program.) Does anybody have a
suggestion? Has this been done already?
