Hi,

I have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB 2, that I finally got to nicely capture
video from analog sources. Now when it is connected and I choose capture
from video device in MM2 I get the message that some other program is using
the device. Anybody knows a solutions to this problem?

Now, it is not a problem to record the videos with the WinTV software, and I
did it with 12 Mb/s bitrate to get a 3.6 GB mpeg2 file of a 46 min video.
When I import this mpeg2 file to MM2 it only appears as one clip, even
though I selected create clips at import. It does not help either to right
click in the collection and choose create clips. I only get one clip. Then,
when I drag the file to the timeline it is inserted as audio/music and only
the sound appears when I press play!

What is wrong?

Espen
