how to create cells in a cell ?

hi,

for example I want to make a cell having 10 cells without adding column, is
it possible

Hi,

it does not help.for example I want to make A(1,1) containing 9 cells.all
cells will belong to A column and row 1.

I doubt you will find a way in Excel to do that. Merge is about as close as
you can get.

Perhaps if you give an example of what you're trying to do (i.e., why do you
need A1 to refer to 9 cells), others can give some insight on other ways to
do it..
