Numerous threads on this and was very helpful to show how to find the default
programs and was told to set defaults. Tried many times and still could not
get my attatchment to open. Was told: "This file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action" Create an association in the
set associations in the Control Panel. So far, I did all this correctly six
times. Found another answer from "Shawn" and said to watch tutorial:
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/83...ociations.html.
This tutorial was EXCELLENT but I guess I am a moron because I still could
not get it to work. Same message keeps coming up when I want to open
attatchment. (Right click would not give suggestions to put it on Desktop) I
found all programs, default programs, set your default programs etc, etc,
Does anyone else want to try to help a person like me who is very new but I
have done everything I was told. Tutorial was great!!! Dallasemmitt

Shawn
I do have the Adobe Reader and the document is showing DOC. When I
have done the tutorial AGAIN, the pictures are great for someone like me and
I do exactly like the pictures, so there must be a step missing or some other
step needed for my machine or me. I really appreciate anymore suggestions
that you have. Thanks for taking the time to help me. Dallasemmitt
