Create an area like System Restore zone?

How do I get to create an area on a disk like System Restore, which
limits the space used, that users can't mess with unless they are quite
savvy?

You can implement user quotas but only on Windows Server shares.

      1st Oct 2008
partition the drive, format the new partition and then "hide" the drive
letter.
