Creat a "Splash Page" to be loaded prior to Home Page?

Hi all, guess the subject says it all. But to put it simply, I would like to
have a "Intro" or "Splash" Page load prior to the home page loading. But I
only want the splash page to load only on the initial visit.

Should I do this with a popup or some other Java Script?

Doug

Hi Doug,

You'll need cookies and some JavaScript to accomplish. You may find
resources for this at http://www.websunlimited.com/resources.asp

Also, take a look at J-Bots Cookie and Page-n-Stages components. The latter
provides for a splash page with filters to a new page.
