When attempting to create a network connection
selecting "using advanced connection" followed by either
the"accept incoming connections" or " connect directly to
another computer and as host" the wizard stops running
and the following event error is registered:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7024
User: N/A
Computer: GLPHOME
Description:
The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with
service-specific error 340 (0x154).
This same error occurs on two different systems both
running XP professional. What does the error specifically
point to?
