I have a very odd question here:

How come microsoft posts instructions to simple crap like
how to change your ip address, yet it doesn't focus on
more important articles like how to setup replication for
SQL server and what it accomplishes, and the proper ways
to setup terminal servers, as well as other important and
tough tasks?

There are many articles on the issues you mention below in the Knowledge
base. There is extremely technical stuff in there. Sometimes it can be hard
to find what your looking for but typically it's there. Are you having a
specific issue with Terminal Services? Most of that is typically covered in
the built in Help.
