I have a problem with several emails with .msg attachments that were
created when web-based email users (i.e. Yahoo and AOL) forwarded
messages to me from their accounts. The content of the message was
not included in the body of the email, only included in the attached
msg file.
When I attempt to open the attachment directly from the email or by
saving the .msg file to my hard drive, it opens a new blank email (as
if I had hit "New message"). I have tried saving and opening the
message as a .doc file, a .txt file and an .html file and all I get is
garbage. (ÐÏࡱá>þÿ þÿÿÿ)
I don't have Google Desktop so that can't be the issue.
Any ideas? Please help!
