We ground all air traffic in and around the UK while the Icelandics fly planes around the bloody thing!!!

Pay fools enough money, and, they'll do anything ...

I, however, agree in grounding commercial aircraft for safety, the radar cannot detect dust clouds, dust in that quantity will shut off all engines in one go ... poof, oops, dead.
