Whenever I am working in Word and either Word decides to close down itself or when I chose to close Word an error message comes up advising to close Word.

Search for and delete all *.tmp files you can (some won't delete because
they are in use). 90% of all Office problems I've dealt with are caused
by *.tmp files causing the app to hang.
