I'm currently at work using the P4 512Mb Compaq Evo assinged to me & was wondering if anybody else has found a similar problem using Explorer, I would ask the IT support guys here for help but it's not something that is gonna stop me from working. Anywho, I'll get to the point

I tried the following this morning:

I copied the below path into an explorer window; it was preceded by \\ then hit enter.

%5C\o%74tswr%6Ets01\%70%75bl%69s%68%64%61ta\%70u%62dir\C%68ar%69%6Eg_%57T%57\index.htm

I realised after I'd tried it that there were already 2 "\\" characters at the start of this code so I didn't need to add them again, what happened next was somewhat strange. Windows crashes with no blue-screen or error message whatsoever. I thought it might have been just my machine, but a colleague tried it with the same result; reboot with no error messages..

Any thoughts??
