Crashing Hard drives

Let's say you purchase XP Pro, install it and four months
later the drive crashes and the files are unrecoverable.
Do you have to purchase another XP Pro or is there
another way to use the same disc?

You are permitted to reinstall Windows XP as many times
as you wish, as long as it is reinstalled on the same computer.
