My movie maker crashes 2 seconds after opening. I have read the "fixes" from
Papa John about codecs, etc. I am just an amateur computer person and it is
greek to me. Should I just give it up or is there a quick fix like
reinstalling Service Pack 3 or something. Short of hiring someone to fix it
for me, what can a computer dummy do to get started again on Movie Maker.

Just a thought, I recently had a corrupt collection after I tried to add
music. I deleted the collection and MM returned to normal. Might be worth
checking.
