Darren

I have tried everything except the reinstall of XP. I started to do this
but I got an error message I think because I have updated my XP with the
service packs and other auto updates. The system is telling me my version on
the computer doesn't match the CD ROM. How do I address this?

Also, the actual error I am getting when the computer goes to the blue
screen of death is:

STOP: 0 x C0000005, 0 x 825e3e22, 0 x F4dc784c, 0 x 00000000)

Maybe this helps.

Thanks for your help.

If you run an XP "Upgrade"setup, from the original, or "Gold" version of the
setup CD, and you have SP2 installed, it will go into a setup loop, and you
will lose your install. Uninstall SP2, BEFORE you do a Upgrade setup from CD
(that lacks sp2 on it.)
