Word freezes and then, after five minutes, I force quit out of frustration.
I've spent more time dealing with Office 2008 than I can afford.

Can i get my money back? I was perfectly happy with the older, simpler
version.

Office 2008? You would be better asking in a Mac Word forum.
It might help when asking there if you mention what you are using to create
the pdf.
