I having a frustrating time with IE 6. It seems like
I'll be on a site and the browser will crash. From then
on it will crash every time I visit that site.

The biggest culprit seem to be sites that pull info from
a database. Checking mail through our web based
Microsoft Outlook kills it everytime. I also use a
product for work calle Real Media Open Ad stream. It
always worked fine, but after crashing once, now it
crashes every time. Any advice?

Thanks
Brian

so you use it to serve ad's on your website then.
re-install it. or do a google search for "Real Media Open
Adstream" .or better yet search for spyware in your system
with spybot from safer-networking.org ,update and scan
on easy and check for parisites.

I am having the same problem with the browser closing - I

I.E. closes, 3 possible reasons.

Internet Explorer Quits When You Visit a Web Page That Uses an XSL Transform
and Window.name Property
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811812

++++++++++++++
Java issue?

Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

++++++++++++++
Parasite?
IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
tools.

Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

Ifa all fails.
