Press F8 during boot, when the boot process offers that option. If you can
get into Safe Mode, you can do a Repair from there. Otherwise, reboot, go
into BIOS Setup, and change the boot sequence to make the CD the first boot
drive. Then boot from the CD and Repair W2K. It's possible, BTW, that the
brownout also left your HD in bad condition, in which case a simple Repair
won't be possible. If that's case, report back here, and someone will give
you further advice - I won't be able to if it comes to that point.

Then go out and buy a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) - get one that's big
enough to handle both the computer and the peripherals for at least 10
minutes, and install the auto-shutdown software, too. Will cost you, but
worth it.
