I have 2 memory modules in my computer (P4 hewlet packard d330), each
one 256MB. After several years of use I started seeing random crashes
- about a month ago. Through trial and error I noticed the crashes
only occur when both modules are present. It doesn't matter which
module or which slot.
Also I ran memtest86 on startup with both modules present and saw no
memory errors.
Therefore I don't really think it's a memory error but something else
- I have no idea what though!?! Suggestions appreciated.
