Crash with new graphics card

      30th Jan 2004
i have recently added a Hurcules ati 9200se to my system
since then when ever i play graphics intensive games such
as Rise of nations or CC generals the system crashes
15mins in, freezing the whole system, i dont know what to
do so if any one has had a similar problem please let me
know what i can do it iwll be much appreciated.

Asked Hercules? Tried another card?

My guess is that the card is over-heating. Does it have a
fan on the card and is it working? Is air flow inside the
case restricted? Make sure the cables and such are not
blocking the air flow.

Try a slot fan near the graphics card. Make sure all the
case fans are working in a proper pattern... in at the front
low, out at the back high.

Overheating or bad RAM seem most likely in your case.
