I am looking for some advice to see if my BIOS settings are correct.
I have an Asus A7A266 board that has been flashed to accept up to XP2600.
I changed my AMD1300 cpu for theXP2400.
Booted the PC and it just hung.
Went into the BIOS and changed the settings to the following:
CPU Speed - Manual (can't be changed)
CPU / PCI Frequency 100 / 33 (won't boot at any other setting)
CPU Frequency Multiple 13.0x (can't be changed)
Are these settings correct?
AIDA32 states I have an XP, 2076 Mhz (6.25 x 332)
Any advice would be much appreciated.
