My laptop IBM T43 has physical CPU 1.86 Centrino. And, 1GB memory. But, the
reading in the General tab/ property/ My Computer has 3 numbers

Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.86 GHz, 782 MHz, 1.00 GB of RAM Physical
Address Extension.

Should I have 1.86GHz on second number instead of 782 now?

The Centrino processor supports "throttling down" as demand for CPU resource decrease. Slowing down the processor reduces battery consumption. This should happen automatically, as needed.
