Click the "Processes" column header so that the most CPU-intensive processes
float to the top or sink to the bottom.

By the way, you're posting in the future. Check your clock and/or your time
zone settings.

Hi,

my win2K started slowing down considerably and I see my cpu speed is
spiking to 100% and not slowing enough or stabilizing at its usual
3-10%. this is within the past few days and the last thing I installed
was the SP4 rollup a week ago and didn't notice this system slowdown at
that time.

there seems to be a lot of processes running (62) and I don't have a lot
of applications installed. how can I tell which running process is
causing this?

thanks to all for any and all suggestions,

bob
