Hi everyone,

I am having a problem with cpu usage, my cpu shows 100% usage without even
using it.......Can anyone provide me with a solution.

Start up opening up Task Manager, open the Processes tab and see what
process or application is using the CPU. If unknown or if you have any
questions, re-post with the name of the offending file.

Launch Task Manager and go to the Processes tab.
Click twice on the CPU column header to sort the list into descending
order based on CPU usage, with the highest usage items at the top.

That should show you which items are using the CPU the most. Ignore
the "System Idle Process".

Note that if there is no CPU column in the processes window then use
View - Select Columns to add it to the displayed information then sort
as per above.

let me check my crystal ball again.
looks like your cat has fleas and the constant scratching is causing the problem.


might check under Task manager to see where the cat got the fleas, its under the CPU column.

looked very suspicious.

Even more I think you have malware on your system.

I would agree with Loren here as well, you should at least respond indicating
what you have done, what has helped or by clicking on the "was this post
helpful to you?" button.. This way the group can know what has been helpful
to you or already been suggested..
