What program did you use to clean up your computer? What was the last thing
you installed on your computer?

See if it happens in safe mode. If it does not, you have an issue with a
startup program/service/driver which you can troubleshoot with msconfig
[search Google for download msconfig] by selectively disabling startup
programs/services. SpyBot has a similar funtion in advanced/tools mode where
you can also look at the prcesses running and what
application/folder/service they map to. SysInternals has some similar, but
more powerful tools to track down errant processes with Process Explorer and
Autoruns. --- Steve

It's here . . .
http://www.svrops.com/svrops/dwnldoth.htm
"Microsoft Msconfig.exe utility from Windows XP. For users of
Windows 2000 who wish MS had included msconfig, you can
download and use this."
