Interesting video. Quite weird to think they are made in that way.

Amazing stuff.

So much so that I went down to the beach and gave it a try. Only managed a few sand castles.

I worked in HP about 15 years ago and it was our groups job to separate and test the wafers as they arrived into the company...it was a bit mundane really. I lasted 6 weeks, i think. I couldn't handle the clean room environment back then.
I still work in cleanrooms but not at the electronics industry.....i think human skin flakes were the most common complaint or cause of contamination.
