Well, the unidentified problem was AGV, because Logitech admits the 100%
CPU usage is a known issue, but with that said...
I have the QuickCam Pro 5000. With the QuickCam 9 software, some of us
got a BSOD every time we tried to use the cam. They came up with the
following workaround:

Then, they fixed that with the QuickCam 10 software, but, as I said, you
have that pesky 100% CPU usage to deal with, and it is a known issue,
about which nothing has been done since the end of August:

I may not have been entirely clear, Mr. Plow. It wasn't the two
together. There's an issue with both, separately. Even after I
uninstalled the QuickCam software, the AVG Anti-Spyware driver was
killing my computer.
