Will any P4 heatsink work w/this mobo since it has those black plastic
arms coming off of it ? I snapped one of the P4 plastic "levers" on the
boxed heatsink that came with the chip, so I need a replacement.

Since I can't find just the arm, I need to replace the entire heatsink.

Any suggestions ?

Most heatsinks should fit, its a fairly standard size, however some have
more fins etc radiating beyond a normal
heatsinks range, make sure you have good clearance for the row of caps on
the board next to the socket478 , you dont
want to break any of those

If your city/town/region has a 'forsale' group post there and buy someone
else's Intel HSF if they have upgraded, your likely
to get it cheaper than a new fancy fan, you KNOW it will fit, and you dont
void your warranty

(most city's use the first few letters of their name + topic (Edmonton =
edm.forsale)

And the new HSF Intel ships with their P4 3.0C with the whole hybrid
aluminum/copper sections, it looks cool

It takes a standard P4 socket 478 heatsink, available anywhere.

If it's a retail model intel will send you a new heatsink under warranty. They
have an exceptional warranty service program.
