I'm running Windows ME and installed Fix-IT Utilities 7 Professional
software. I restarted the computer and the computer freezes up. The only
movement is with the mouse. I don't know how to get into the computer to to
remove or undo what I have done. Anyone, please advise. This software is for
Windows 2000/XP. I thought ME and 2000 were basically the same. Thanks
inadvance for any and all replies.

A WinME or Win9* newsgroup may be more appropriate.
WinME / Win9* is completely different to Win2k/xp systems

First, you should post this message to microsoft.public.windowsme.general

Second, like the other posted suggested, try to get into safe mode and
remove
offending software.

Third, Windows ME or Millenium Edition is based on the "DOS" side of the
Microsoft tree as apposed to the NT side of the tree. There were three
versions of 98 (FE, First Edition, SE, Second Edition, and ME, Millenium
Edition).

Finally, rule of thumb, know your hardware and software "before" you buy
anything else. One big falacy in the pc world is that everything works with
everything.

later.....
