I have to ask what type of computer this is and if it actually supports
the higher Front Side Bus speed of the processor. You may need to
update the BIOS for CPU compatibility or find some way of getting your
FSB changed. Also, if you just bought this chip, I would try returning
it for a new one (if possible and doesn't cost you anything) and see if
the new one has the same problem.
