How do you populate the {NOTES} field?

Sending a fax in Outlook 2003 using To: Name[FAX:#######]

The subject shows up in {Subject} but the message body goes over on page 2.
The Notes: area is left blank.

While sending from Outlook, Notes field will not be used, it will be always
left blank.
