Hi Folks,

I was asked a question today...that I have no answer to..and was wondering
if any of you have any thoughts.

The client wants a members only section within their site. (I have no
problems doing that) Within that area he wants to provide certain discounts
in the way of coupons or similar (again no problem doing that) Where I am
perplexed is that he asked what could be done to at least cut down the
number of times these could be copied or counterfeited (It would be a hard
copy printout..I know ways to do it if it was going to be electronic) My
hunch tells me there isn't any way to do this...but since there's so many
people her smarter than me..I am wondering what you all think?

And please don't suggest that if I don't want it copied..not to put it on
the web!? LOL It's more of a Xerox problem! :-)

Use a mail-merge setup to print the coupons, so that each customer
gets their own personalised coupon, including the coupon number that
is used on the website. Validation checks on the website would tie
the coupon number to the member, and check for duplication.
