Does Vista have anything similar to Windows Explorer?

How does one easily migrate data AND settings from a Win 2000 installation
to a Vista machine?

PS. I hate the little that I have seen of Vista; won't MS give me a free
replacement XP for it?

Yes, Vista has Windows Explorer.

Windows Easy transfer will partially work on Windows 2000, but it will not
transfer system and program settings.

There is no 'upgrade' path from Windows 2000 to any version of Windows
Vista. A clean install is required:

Windows Vista includes its own Windows Explorer. Go to
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer

Hello Sitara Lal--

Any folder has you in Explorer. Right clicking the start button>Explorer or
Open all Users or Explorer all users has you in Explorer. Rt. click
desktop>New>folder you're in explorer. Type C:\ in an IE address bar and
you're in Explorer.

Their have been some changes in Vista, so you should read these links:

http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/win...ndows+explorer

Also had you gone to the start button>Help and typed in explorer you would
have reached the same links to tell you how to work with Windows Explorer in
Vista.

Good luck,

CH

Yep and it's still as screwed up as it has always been. Even MVPs
admit it.
