Is there a way to count all the words in all the documents a folder
contains? They are MS Word docs. It would take quite awhile to open each
doc, get the word count and proceed to the next doc.

Thanks
Daphne

Hi,

Download a freeware called PlusTools (a macro that installs in Word)
from www.wordfast.net.
It will do a lot of other operations too on mulitple Word files,
including counting words and characters.

Hi,

Download a freeware called WordConvs Free from
http://www.telsys.it/WordConvsFree.html.
It will do a lot of other operations too (which can be disabled) on
mulitple document files, including counting lines, words and
characters.
