I'll do my best to explain (and hope it makes sense).
I am setting up a coptetition result tracking database so that it can
contain some working worksheet functions that allow for instant
reporting. In input data screen is made up of a series of predefined
lists with one open text field for name.
I have it set up to keep a running total of the total appearances at
the various competition levels to produce something like the below:
1st 2nd
3rd
National 1 0
0
International 3 0
2
Olympic 0 0
0
What I am now trying to achieve is a report that indicates how many
athletes are responsible for each of the medals i.e. not total
apprearances alone. The result of this would show that two athletes
were responsible for each achievement to give something like:
1st # 2nd #
3rd #
National 1 1 0 0
0 0
International 3 2 0 0 2
2
Olympic 0 0 0 0 0
0
Does anyone have any pointers as to where to start with this? I have
spent most of today trying to solve it and my head is fried!!
