Hi Mort,
There should be a readme file in the dedicated server's directory.
See how the information there compares to the way you've setup
your server, specifically double check the ports and protocols. :-)

| I'm trying to setup Counter Strike Dedicated Server Using
| Steam on XP Pro.
|
| My game server sits on my local network with a static IP
| address of 192.168.0.3.
|
| Running the Steam-DS with type Internet/Lan it picks up
| the local IP.
|
| The network has a Internet Conection Sharing on
| 192.168.0.1 this was set up using the "Home/Small office
| LAN wizard".
|
| I'm using the standard Firewall in XP on the gateway, My
| system and the GFs both use Norton as an extra block on
| hacking.
|
| I've opened the following ports on the Gateway firewall
|
| UDP 1200
| UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive &
| TCP 27030 to 27039 inclusive
|
| Problem is that I can only see the Game Server in the LAN
| list on my client but not in the Internet list.
|
| All systems can see the internet.
|
| Dose the firewall do port forwarding?
