It depends on how it is "not working"

Does it show up at all?
Does it show as a red X?
Does it display but just not increment?

Are FP server extensions installed on the host server? They are required
for the hit counter. And, you must http publish, not ftp.

If you see the words hit counter on the page on the host server, it's an
indication that the extensions are either not installed or not configured
properly. Suggest you post the URL of the web site for people to check.

When I click the link it tries
to open www.fire.serverftp.com:8090
8090 being a port on the server, which then
tries to redirect to http://162.83.189.52
which is Verizon Internet Services which then
returns Action Cancelled.
