I am trying to upload a web site with FR 2002. We have a small business
server with a firewall. We can not see our own web site and every time I try
to upload i get the following error: Could not find a web server at
ftp://www.pm-cinc.com. Please check to make sure that the web server name is
valid and your proxy settings are set correctly. If you are sure....

I have contacted godaddy.com who is our hosting service and they say our web
site if fine from their location... Also, sometimes it will work - but 9
chances out of 10 it doesn't. Could somebody please help??

Are you sure that's the correct ftp address?...www?

Yeah - I even had another person outside of our office try to look at our
site - www.pm-cinc.com and they said it was showing on our computer. But if
I try to sign on IE from my computer in the office - it will not bring up our
site???

Thanks for the suggestion but it will not allow me to upload. Keeps saying
that it doesn't exist?? I never had this problem until we installed a fire
wall with our Small Business Server and networked all of our computers
through the fire wall on the Server??

You need to get with your IT department and have them start looking at the
firewall settings. That is most likely the problem. Not much anyone here
can do about it.

If you're using FTP, maybe your firewall is blocking port 21 outbound. If
you're using godaddy's cPanel, maybe your firewall is blocking port 2082.
The firewall or proxy may be your issue.
