Hi, there ,
i am window XP user.
I saved my private folder (My Document) in my D-drive.
Today my window crashed, so i had to use the windows
recovery disc to restore my XP.

After restore, i found that i cannot access the private
folder (My document folder) which i create before this.
The POP UP message is as below :
D:/My document is not accessible. Access is denied.

There is some important document inside this folder.

Any body can help ??
Thanks in Advance

Hi,

if you haven't used EFS (Encrypted Files System) on your files then you must
take ownership of the folder/files.

Follow instructions in this article:

How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp

I hope this helps,

Mike
