I have a p4 2.8 800mhz running on a Asrock P4VM8 motherboard, recently
it doesn't come on all it does is that the keyboard light keep blinking
I tried changing the cpu with another identical but the same problem
persists. Changed the ram still the problem there.... Any idea what
does the constant blinking mean on the keyboard i disconnected every
other hard ware such as HDD, FDD CDROM, Fax modem etc no external
graphics card using on board.

What do I do kinda in a fix

Thanks for your help in advance

I once had a cheap keyboard that had a short or a defective key in it that
gave a similar symptom. Try swapping the keyboard if possible.

I've had 2 Asrock mobos, and each time there was a (different) problem.
Replaced them with Asus and all problems solved. Never buy Asrock again....

Maybe if you connect up the pc speaker, you'll get some beeps codes that you
can lookup...?
Disabling onboard bits sounds a good idea, disable everything and see if it
works....
