There is nothing preventing you from breaking up the Word Doc into meaningful separate pages in FP w/ navigation between the pages
- just make multiple copies of the doc as html and edit out what you don't want on each page
- and possibly offer the whole brochure as a PDF download

| Hi ,
| I'v been handed a Word document, a brochure of products, about a 100 !
| - , made specifically for printing, but is now ready to be included on
| a web site, and I'm trying to come up with a good way to do this ~ it'd
| make for a very long web page if I were to lay it out "as-is", I'd
| love to make use of somethign like "DeskTop Author", but it's just a
| bit too costly for me - specially if it's going to get quite limited
| use - but yeah - that kinda idea would look good! and instead of
| presenting the brochure in it's entirety on a web site - I could make
| the brochure a downloadable item, ~ which yes... I could make the Word
| doc as the download ~ but who wants to scroll down a long list of
| items, pics and descriptions, could be - but I'd prefer if possible to
| be a little more creative than that - and make it something more
| interesting for the visitor. (also might add paypal purchase button
| beside each item - though th esite will have an order form to print
| and mail in)
| many thanks. thoughts n ideas appreciated.
