Could Not Start the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service on local computer

Hi All,
One of our customers decided to carry out some file
maintenance and deleted svchost.exe from their system32
folder. Now the RPC service doesn't start and consequently
just about nothing else.

I get the following error when trying to start the RPC
service:

Could Not Start the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service on
local computer
error 3: The system could not find the path specified
