WXP SP2 w all Updates, Office Professional 2007 Updated except for SP1 NOT
Installed Yet, DSL Router Recently Networked Desktop & Laptop w Ethernet
Cable.

In Event Viewer\Application I've discovered zillions of Errors commencing
14Nov07 being the date I installed 3 updates, (2 WXP and 1 Office) per my
History in MS Update.

The Source is: MSSQL$MSSMLBIZ;
Category (2)
Event: 17058

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSSQL$MSSMLBIZ
Event Category: (2)
Event ID: 17058
Date: 12/16/2007
Time: 5:12:33 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SHARK
Description:
initerrlog: Could not open error log file ''. Operating system error = 3(The
system cannot find the path specified.).

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: a2 42 00 00 10 00 00 00 ¢B......
0008: 0f 00 00 00 53 00 48 00 ....S.H.
0010: 41 00 52 00 4b 00 5c 00 A.R.K.\.
0018: 4d 00 53 00 53 00 4d 00 M.S.S.M.
0020: 4c 00 42 00 49 00 5a 00 L.B.I.Z.
0028: 00 00 00 00 00 00 ......

Under Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\LOG I see ERRORLOG nbrd 1 to
6, All showing Date Modified 12th to 14th Nov07.
I do not have a Server. I have no idea what this SQL Server is and just
discovered these errors this evening.
Can someone here pls advise whether there's another Forum I should be
posting this on or ... a solution to prevent these Errors from reoccurring.

I'm tempted to delete these ERRORLOG files 10KB and see if they'll reappear
or maybe the whole SQL Server folder seeing as I'm not using a Server but
will await more suitable advice/suggestions.

Hopefully I've given enough information to form a solution. ... Thx Edna

I've successfully got rid of the Error Event 17058 by putting the SQL Server
on Manual from Automatic but there still remains this Warning. There must be
an entry under Services Configuration Manager that will correct this but ...
which one. Would someone pls venture forth with an educated guess. Much
preferred than my guesses. Thx Edna.
