Hi,
I have a printserver (Windows 2000 Server SP4), that could
not publish shared printer in AD, though before SP4 all
worked normally. Now, when I select "List in the
Directory" checkbox (printer properties, Sharing Tab) and
press Apply I receive error in system log:
PrintQueue CN=_EJ-FS-Tektronix Phaser 860B by Xerox could
not be created under Container
LDAP://small_server.NEJ.EE/CN=_EJ-
FS,OU=Servers,OU=EJ,DC=NEJ,DC=EE because Mandatory
properties could not be set. Error: 80070005
and under "List in the Directory" checkbox appears (and
does not disappear) - "The Directory operation is still in
progress."
DNS works properly, other computers could publish shared
printers in AD without problems.
Printserver has also Certificate Services installed.
Please, help.
