Saw the last response and that was all good but you will only get really
generic answers from this forum until you give us more info. I can see
you're a newbie and will try to help as much as possible. we've all been
there. Do you know anything about your system? Brand name? Operating
System (XP or PRo)? Size of Hard drive, partions, RAM? Is it a 1.6 Ghz
athlon or celeron etc. Do you have other things attached like printers
(especially HP) Are you running McAfee or Norton anti-virus. They're both
RAM hogs. Sounds like you are using wireless mouse. Personally, I never
did like those though everyone around me has one. Look for similar posts on
this forum with answers by some the MVP's. (Gods in layman terms). Also go
to
www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/xp_notes.htm . If you don't know your
system, got
www.majorgeeks.com and find system utilities or diagnostics,
(can't remember which) and download a program called Aida32. It will tell
you everything you need to know about your box.
